The Missouri Pharmacy Association has been closely following the recent developments regarding the 2023 Express Scripts contract with TRICARE
. We disagree with the Defense Health Agency’s decision to slash reimbursements for in-network pharmacies
. As advocates for patient rights and safety, we understand the importance of access to community pharmacies and the vast array of services provided by them.
Given the rapidly approaching date for this contract to be enacted, MPA is taking all necessary steps to bring accountability to DHA and Express Scripts. To assist our outreach efforts to help bring a change to this onerous proposal, we have created a Change.org
petition to allow military families and pharmacists to register their objections. Please sign the petition and share it via this link
. Thank you for your participation. We encourage you to have your patients respond to this petition as well.
The MPA is your voice, a strong voice, at the Missouri Capitol. We fight to ensure that the practice of pharmacy is protected and that your profession will flourish for years to come.
The MPA has trained and is advanced in grassroots techniques and organization. We ensure that you have the information you need to develop a coalition around a specific issue, the MPA is here to represent you in the most effective manner possible.
